We recognise the importance of nurturing and developing these skills within each of you, so we have created an Academy in which you are able to evolve and advance both professionally and personally. The JDX Academy is a feature of every JDXer’s journey, regardless of seniority. There is a bespoke training plan for all levels, from Graduate to Executive.

Our Academy provides leading-edge blended training using world class eLearning modules alongside highly interactive classroom-based sessions. We provide monitoring and guidance from industry experts, bespoke coaching and tailored supporting materials to help guide and facilitate your development, so your learning journey is a continuous one, whatever your experience or length of service.

What this looks like in practice is a tiered Academy structure where each level within the organisation has the perfect blend of technical and soft skills development, delivered through a variety of means to suit every learning style. The JDX Bootcamp is an intensive 4-day training programme which takes place as part of the recruitment process. It is designed to ensure that new graduates are knowledgeable and prepared to embark on a career in financial services.


The Onboarding stage of the Academy blends eLearning and tutor-led sessions designed to equip new employees with all of the fundamental knowledge required to get started in their careers at JDX.


This programme further develops the introductory skills learnt during Bootcamp, whilst also introducing several new topics. Discover features a mixture of technical and soft skills training.


At this stage in their JDX careers, employees can begin to specialise in a chosen subject and develop technical expertise in this area.


The programme empowers employees to take full responsibility of their own learning journey, providing them with one-to-one executive coaching and an assigned mentor. Participants have the opportunity to further specialise in areas via external courses, and also attain industry-recognised qualifications.

The Executive programme within the Academy is designed to support those driving the business; those who not only manage numerous tiers of employees, but whose focus is to ensure business growth.

We work hard to create an atmosphere of self-led learning, so you will have the opportunity to tailor your development path as you move through your career with us. Some of our staff have even collaborated with L&D to create their own training courses.


The JDX Compass Programme is our mentoring initiative that sees highly experienced, external experts join us each month to provide mentoring support to our talented junior employees. We have an incredible mentoring team with an average of 40 years’ experience in financial consultancy and banking; working with the world’s top banks and consultancies in global leadership roles. They are dedicated to the success and promotion of JDXers.

The 12-month programme includes both 1-to-1 and group mentoring sessions, ensuring we enable individual career development and support, as well as encouraging peer-to-peer mentoring amongst the groups. The mentors offer career advice and guidance, assist individuals to create and action their personal development plans, discuss and generate new ideas, share resources, listen and help to unlock the mentees’ potential.

Using experienced individuals from outside of JDX to mentor our people brings a fresh, independent perspective, a wealth of expertise and experience to share, broad networks, insight on best practice and suggestions for improving the workplace journey our people experience. Our mentors meet with the JDX leadership team quarterly to ensure we, as a company, are able to act on both mentor and mentee feedback and provide additional development and support to our people where required.
