JDX’s new joiners attend their first industry conference

Last week, JDX’s Head of Market Infrastructure, Mark Croxon and Head of Strategic Clients, George Xenoudakis attended the FIA, Inc. Futures Industry Association International Derivatives Expo. Mark and George were joined not only by one of our global client partners, Jessica Hopkirk-Jaramillo, but also two of our newest graduate joiners Charlotte Booth and Isabel Davies.
JDX’s purpose is to create opportunities, and we believe in doing this from day one. Giving the opportunity for new joiners to experience industry events and hear from leading in their first weeks is a fantastic way to bolster their learning.
Commenting on her experience at her first industry event, Charlotte said: “Attending my first trade conference today was an exciting and rewarding experience, everyone was so welcoming and made me feel at ease from the onset. By meeting various professionals from investment banks, asset management firms and vendors, I was able to enhance the knowledge I have gained in the financial market infrastructure space.”
Isabel commented: “Attending the International Derivatives Expo conference organised by the FIA was certainly an exciting day out. The key takeaway for me was that standing still is not an option in today’s developing derivatives sphere and it is necessary to adapt to new processes, technologies, and regulations to meet the needs of tomorrow’s industry.”
We are delighted to finally be able to enjoy in-person events and will be sharing lots of upcoming engagements over the coming weeks. In the meantime, reach out to Mark Croxon or George Xenoudakis for more information about our market infrastructure capabilities.
